Pokemon Unite Officially Launches On Mobile Devices, Patch 1.2 Notes And Updates Released

Pokemon UNITE, the highly-anticipated mobile MOBA videogame, has finally been launched worldwide for mobile devices, with Patch 1.2 arriving shortly after the game's initial release date.


Pokémon UNITE, the first strategic team battle game from the Pokémon franchise, is a free-to-play software available on the Google Play Store for Android devices and the App Store for iOS devices. Following the game's global release, the current Patch 1.2 notes and update have been made available. This is the first significant update for the game, and it will bring with it a slew of gameplay modifications and new in-game content, such as the implementation of quality of life enhancements and bug patches. It is also released to make numerous tweaks to the various Pokemons in order to balance the gameplay.

Trainers may also look forward to a brand new set of rewards that will be available to them as part of the all-new battle pass system. Trainers will be able to access the same Pokémon UNITE account on both the Nintendo Switch and mobile devices if they link their account to a Nintendo Account or a Pokémon Trainer Club account. In addition, more in-game cosmetics known as Holowears will be made available for players to gather as part of this latest version.

The following preregistration campaign awards will be awarded to every Trainer who completes the in-game event on the mobile version of Pokémon UNITE by Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 14:59 GMT as a celebration of the mobile release and the achievement of five million preregistrations: 1,000 Aeos tickets, the Unite license for Pikachu, and special Holowear for Pikachu called Festival Style are all included in the prize package. Trainers will receive an additional 1,000 Aeos tickets if a total of 7.5 million preregistrations are completed by the deadline.

Mobile and Nintendo Switch Crossplay

Gamers using mobile devices can interact with and compete against Nintendo Switch players. Using their Pokemon Trainer Club and Nintendo Switch Account, Switch gamers may also sync their game progress to the smartphone version of Pokemon Unite, which is currently in beta.

New Battle Pass: Galactic Ghost 094

A new battle pass, Galactic Ghost 094, will commence on Wednesday, September 22 to coincide with the release of Pokémon UNITE on mobile devices. It will be the first time that space-themed items will be available in a battle pass. Players will need to accomplish both daily and weekly assignments in order to advance in the battle pass and obtain rewards corresponding to their current battle pass level. Aside from that, people who acquire the premium pass will have a better chance of earning additional incentives.

Introduction of Unite Squads

Unite squads is a new feature that will be implemented to both the Nintendo Switch and smartphone versions of the game starting tomorrow, September 22nd. In order to engage with other players, trainers can build their own squads or seek for current squads to join and connect with. Trainers that share a common interest can quickly discover one another by using squad tags that others can search for on the internet.

Complete a special mission to receive the Unite license for Zeraora

Trainers who did not receive the Unite license for Zeraora as part of the Nintendo Switch version's launch bonus will have a second chance to obtain it through a special assignment starting on Wednesday, September 22. Players who already possess the Unite license for Zeraora will receive Aeos coins in lieu of the new license.
