Pokémon UNITE to have its first beta test in Canada by March

On June 24, 2020, Pokémon Presents announced on their broadcast about the Pokémon UNITE. Since then, development continued to progress. Changes and addition have been made, the visuals have improved, more playable Pokémon has been added and so much more. The MOBA is developed in China by TiMi Studio Group.


Pokémon UNITE is a "free to start" 5v5 team based strategy game. The main focus of the game is to have more points than the other team in the game's appointed scoring zone while also partaking in battles against other players. Like in the main games, you can learn new moves and evolve your Pokémon as you level up in the game.

The Pokémon Company, responsible for the publishing of the upcoming Nintendo Switch and mobile MOBA announced that the English version of Pokémon UNITE will enter its first regional beta test phase that will happen in March. However, it will be only for gamers from Canada that will take part in it. Although it is planned to be released on Apple, Android, and Nintendo Switch, the regional beta test phase will be limited to Android platform.

  • The Pokémon UNITE regional beta test phase is only for Canadian residents.
  • Participating players must be at least 16 years old.
  • In-game progress will be reset upon the beta's completion.
  • Streaming or capture of the game play is not allowed during the regional beta test phase.
