PS4 Jap vs UK Version?

Hi everyone.

I'm planning to get a PS4 soon, yet i'm confused with the 2 versions.. So if you won't mind, can you give me some suggestions/opinions so that i can make up my mind..

hi i don't think there's significant difference on both of them unless you are in UK because it all boils down on warranty all ps4 aren't region lock to begin with

I also think that the japanese version of the PS4 uses O as the default "confirm" button rather than X, theres no option to change it. If you plan on getting japanese versions of the games then i'd suggest getting the japanese version as switching between X and O is really annoying.

The button mapping was fixed on firmware 2.5, you can just go to settings and do the following:

Settings > Accessibility > Button Assignments > Enable Custom Button Assignments > Customize Button Assignments > Swap it up
Tested on system version 3.10

Wow thank you, i didn't know you could do that. This is gonna take some time getting use to though, thanks.

Is there anyway to edit the instructions though? it still says "X" is back while "O" is enter.
