RoS vs PUBG Lawsuit
- Earlier last week news broke out that PUBG is suing RoS and Knives out developer Netease for copyright infringement
- Then on a crazy turnout of events, NetEase will start suing other copycats
- Basically copycat vs copycat vs copycat (ubusan ng pera)
- So before you get triggered let's talk about what it means and the possibilities of what could happen to RoS or Knives out in the Philippines
- First, let's talk about copyright infringement of RoS vs PUBG, well honestly it's not a secret that the game looks very similar as well as the game mechanics
- From the playable area, preloading screen, parachute, and drops
- However for the claim to work PUBG needs to make it certain that those mechanics are exactly copied from them.
- This is were problems start the concept of battle royale is not originally from PUBG because its base from a movie,
- some game mechanics are also not originally from PUBG but from games like h1z1, dayZ or Arma
- and if you played Arma the map, buildings, guns are almost the same
- This is just a few things the PUBG company needs to prove in court that they are the original creators
- Yes some might be original for PUBG like the blue playable area circle, but in the end, it's the court that will decide and this takes time sometimes even years
- And Second what happens if PUBG wins the copyright lawsuit?
- Well since the case was filed in the US the game could be removed on Appstore for the US Market only
- because there is no such thing as international copyright the game will still be operational on other markets like southeast asia
- unless PUBG devs start suing the game on every country or its included in the international treaties or conventions which is a long shot to go
- So, in short, it will take time and cost money for devs to shut down each other's games
- also, Remember that before Riot also sued Mobile Legends in the US but it didn't stop the game from operating

PUBG Ransomware
- A new malware has been spreading lately and its call the PUBG Ransomware
- The new malware locks infected computer files unless they play PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds
- According to the Ransomware notes it reads “Your files is encrypted by PUBG Ransomware! But don’t worry! It is not that hard to unlock it. I don’t want money! Just play PUBG 1Hours”
- So there you have it the malware dont want your money but for you to simply play and enjoy the game
- Experts mentioned the malware actually locks down your computer files so if you parents get angry why you are still playing PUBG tell them “Ma may virus need ko maglaro para mawala!”
- The malware was found by the team called “MalwareHunterTeam” who also found the ResenWare

- Fans of Final Fantasy XV rejoice because the company just stated that they will add more contents until 2019
- Here are the planned DLC as well as some information
- Episode I: Ardyn "The Conflict of the Sage"
- This story will focus on the game's protagonist Ardyn as we witness hes resentment towards the Lucis family for over 2000 years as well as his clashes with the Astrals
- Episode Side Story: Aranea "The Beginning of the End"
- This is a side story about the Starscourge depicted on the Niflheim’s perspective as we play Aranea
- Episode II: Lunafreya "The Choice of Freedom"
- This is the story of Luna’s fate after death where she battle to save the one she loves to overturn the destiny dealt by the lucian king
- Episode III: Noctis — “The Final Strike”
- Parting ways with the Astrals, Noctis embarks upon his final battle in order to attain the ideal future for all his people.
- Episode I: Ardyn "The Conflict of the Sage"

Overwatch Symmetra
- For our Overwatch News
- Overwatch's new map, Rialto, will hit the public test sever in a few weeks
- and for hero updates
- According To Overwatch game, Direct Jeff Kaplan Symmetra will undergo a “dramatic” and “significant” changes this summer
- This news was posted on the Overwatch official forums where in he replied to a fan who was wondering if there are any news on Symmetra
- Kaplan also stated that the current details cannot be shared yet unfortunately
- To those who don't know Symmetra’s kit was already reworked once since she was the least played Overwatch hero
- Let's hope that her upcoming rework will be significant enough this time arround

Steam Privacy
- Stream recently updates its privacy policy
- This is probably inline on Facebook scandal which gave out your personal data on 3rd part companies
- what the update does is that publicly available data will no longer be shown
- This affects aggregators sites like Steam Spy
- The update aims to give control to users about the information they share
- So now you can now control to share data on what games you own and how many hours you spent on a particular game
- So if you played 1000 hours on adult visual novels you can now hide them
- It is also mentioned that Valve is planning to implement a presence mode
- this will allow users to be invisible while still playing online
- There is no release date for this feature but its stated to be coming in the near future
- XSEED Games and Marvelous have announced a western release for Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal
