Puma collaborates with MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV to release a new series of sneakers

The well-known MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV by Square Enix will soon be the subject of a line of footwear as they collaborate with Puma. Two vintage Slipstream models and two RS-X versions are part of the collection made public by the Japanese website Sneakerwars (via 4Gamer). In keeping with the theme of Light and Darkness, the models' colors are variations of white, blue, and green for two of them and black and purple for the other two.

On March 15, 2023, the sneakers will be made available in Japan. Each model will cost 17,050 yen, which, at the time of writing, is almost $125 or ₱6,781. However, release outside of Japan has not yet been announced as of this writing. Additionally, the well-known "Fat Cat" minion from the game, Meteor logos, and crystal charms provide further embellishments.

Below are some snapshots of the upcoming line of sneakers.

In the wake of the game's fourth expansion, "Endwalker," there are approximately 27 million accounts registered across the globe. The new iteration of the yearly Little Women' Day seasonal event was just introduced a few days ago. The 6.35 update, which includes the Eureka Orthos Deep Dungeon, a new installment of the "Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures" quest chain, additional steps for the Manderville weapons and Splendorous tools, the brand-new Loporrit Tribal Quests, and an adorably adorable ear wiggle emote, will be released soon for the game.

Currently, Final Fantasy XIV is playable on the PS5, PS4, and PC using the Steam client or a standalone client. The game, which was first released in 2010 and has since undergone a relaunch under the name "A Realm Reborn," became one of the most well-known MMORPGs in the world.
