Racing Game Kartrider Rush+ Drifts Into 3 Million Pre-registrations in First Week

Community members work together to unlock exclusive rewards leading up to launch later this year. One week ago, KartRider Rush+, the latest multiplayer game from NEXON Korea Corporation, subsidiary of NEXON Co., Ltd. (“Nexon”) (3659.TO), a worldwide leader in free-to-play online and mobile games entered pre-registration for players on Android and iOS. The upcoming mobile kart-racing obsession has already sped through three million total sign-ups at the break-neck speed of under a week, including one million in the first day.

As promised by Nexon Korea and the KartRider Rush+ team, players who participated in the pre-registration sign-ups will receive special in-game rewards, including the Skelemech Kart, Slugger Dao character, 5,000 Turbo Crystals and 3,000 K-Coins. Participating players will receive their rewards leading up to the KartRider Rush+ global launch. KartRider Rush+ will be available globally via iOS and Android in multiple languages including English, Korean, Thai and Traditional Chinese.

KartRider Rush+ boasts multiple new features that deliver casual racing gameplay, such as:

• Drifting – Players can use the new drift feature to coast around corners with ease and get an edge on the competition
• Fun Game Modes – KartRider Rush+ offers seven game modes, including Speed Race Mode, Arcade Mode (Item Race, Relay Race, etc.), Ranked Mode, Story Mode, Time Trial, Training Camp and License Test.

KartRider Rush+ is the latest IP-based development from the smash hit KartRider online game, which has grown in popularity since it was introduced to Korea-based players in 2012.
