Ragnarok friends, here’s a basic #Guide regarding EQUIPMENTS for #ROX Next Gen. Hope it helps!
Main Equipment are divided into 8 separate SLOTS in Ragnarok Next Gen: Weapons, Off-Hands, Armors, Cloaks, Shoes, Accessories, Talisman 1 and Talisman 2. Equipment also has a QUALITY system: White, Blue, Purple, and Gold. Furthermore, there are also equipment SET effects activated when 3 or more SLOTS of equipment are worn from the same set. Example of SETS are ‘White 25 GTB’, ‘Blue 30 GTB’, ‘White 40 Drake’, ‘Blue 40 Drake’, ‘Purple Valkyrie’, ‘Purple Morpheus’, etc. Finally, do note that the only equips with no SET EFFECTS are Gold QUALITY equips.
My Recommendation:
There are a lot of ways we can go about this, but I think the most important thing is taking into account your character and your role in-game, and then choosing your equipment based on the SET EFFECT that you need. For example, a person who likes to go MVP Hunting could opt to go for full Blue set because of the SET EFFECT that would increase their damage to MVPs and MINIs. Another example, a person who plays FS Priest or Tank Smith could find 'White 25 GTB' set useful as it provides reflect damage to enemies. Having said that, below is a general overview of the equipment system in ROX.
WHITE QUALITY:
*All 8 SLOTS are available
*You can get White equips from Exhange, Dungeons and Gacha.
*White has Upgrade Tiers which functions like this: Get White 25 from Dungeon, upgrade to White 25 I with Smelt items, upgrade to White 25 II with Smelt items, and so on...
*Daily Copy, Mining, Fishing, and Smelting are crucial
BLUE QUALITY:
*All 8 SLOTS are available
*You can get Blue equips from Exhange, Crafting and Gacha.
*Blue has Craft Item Level which functions like this: Craft Blue 30 with Dungeon Drops and Smelt items, as pre-requisite for Crafting Blue 40 with Dungeon Drops and Smelt items, and so on...
*Daily Copy, Mining, Fishing, and Smelting are crucial
PURPLE QUALITY:
*SLOTS available are Armors, Cloaks and Shoes.
*You can get Purple equips from Exhange and Crafting
*Purple has Upgrade Tiers which functions like this: Craft Purple Valkyrie with Valk Coins, upgrade to Purple Valkyrie I with Valk Coins and Smelt items, upgrade to Purple Valkyrie II with Valk Coins and Smelt items, and so on...
*Daily Copy, Mining, Fishing, and Smelting are crucial
GOLD QUALITY:
*SLOTS available are Weapons, Off-Hands, Accessories and Talismans.
*You can get Gold equips from Exhange and Gacha
*Gold has Uograde Tiers which functions like this: Get Gold from Gacha, upgrade to Gold I with MVP Coins and Smelt items, upgrade to Gold II with MVP coins and Smelt items, and so on...
*MVP and MINI hunting, Mining, Fishing, and Smelting are crucial
The easy conclusion is WHITE and BLUE are for F2P, and PURPLE and GOLD are for P2W. However, you can get all of these QUALITY equips even if you are only F2P. What’s important is proper planning and efficient use of daily activities. Choice of equips to use ultimately depends on personal preference and RNG, and as always, equipment plays a huge part in getting stronger with your character. I'm looking forward to exploring this further with all of you.
