For new players, here are some pointers to get you started in Ragnarok X: Next Generation by teaching you the fundamental features you'll need to know and help you make your adventure throughout Midgard easier and more fun.

As you progress into the game, there will be more challenges along the way. In this beginner's guide, you will learn about the following features of the game: Obtaining a Mount, Life Skill Advancement, and Exchange Center Auctions. Let's get started!

Obtaining A Mount

Players can explore an area faster on Mounts than they could on foot. Mounts can be obtained in a number of different ways. They can be earned in-game through missions or NPC merchants, or purchased with real-world money at the Exchange Center.

1. Players will have access to Mounts after the second job advancement. Knight classes will immediately receive a Pecopeco while other classes will have to rent a mount from the Mount Keeper merchant, which can be found at Prontera Square, for 20000 Crystals.

2. Buy a Glory Pass to unlock levels and obtain a Mount.

3. Players can also buy a Flower Parade in the Couples System to book a two-person carriage.

4. Mounts are also available for purchase at the Exchange Center for Diamonds.

Life Skill Advancement

In Ragnarok X: Next Generation, Life Skill is a function that you must use in order to strengthen your character without having to pay real money. When upgrading or creating equipment, you'll require resources that can only be obtained through the use of Life Skills. There are different Life Skills in the game, but in this guide we will feature the following three: Mining, Fishing, and Gathering.

Upgrading, refining, and smelting are only a few of the applications for mining minerals. Stamina is required to mine, and each mining operation uses two stamina. You must also purchase a pickaxe as part of your mining equipment. Normal Pickaxe, Advance Pickaxe, and Alloy Pickaxe are the three types of pickaxes available in the game. Pickaxes are consumable equipment, so keep that in mind. When the durability of a Pickaxe is depleted, you'll need to go get a new one to use.

1. Find the "General Merchant" to purchase a Normal Pickaxe for 18000 Zeny or a Advanced Pickaxe for 54000 Zeny. A normal pickaxe that has never been used can be used as a smelting material to produce an Advanced Pickaxe which is more comfortable, efficient, and can decrease time spent in mining.

2. You can also purchase an Alloy Pickaxe at Alberta's Crystal Merchants for 12000 Crystals. It is generally used to mine Rich Veins and you can get around 100 different ores every time you mine. You can also receive it as a Kingdom Pass Reward.

Fishing is one of several life skills that may be used to gather resources for upgrading stones and equipment. To go fishing, you'll need the right kind of bait. These may be purchased in Alberta City. You will lose 10 stamina points each time you fish. The use of stamina points will rise as the necessary level of material increases.

1. After Level 26, you'll automatically pick up the Fishing Contest quest at 5:00 each day. Give 10 the same tier of any material to obtain 10 Magic Bait. You can use these Magic Bait to fish and create a Fish Print. You can obtain 20 Fish Print Commemorative Coins after reporting in, and if you catch a big fish, you can enter the rankings and get even more rewards. Get 100 Fish Print Commemorative Coins if you reach Rank 1, 80 Fish Print Commemorative Coins if you reach Ranks 2-5, and more.

2. Players can also purchase the "Automatic Fishing Rod" from Xavier's Fish Print Commemorative Coin Shop at Prontera South Gate for 20 Fish Print Commemorative Coins which can automatically fish 50 times.

3. Do not forget to buy different kinds of bait from Alberta's Fishing Bait Merchant to increase your chance of getting specific materials.

Being a self-sufficient player in RoX is a worthwhile goal since it allows you to meet your own requirements in the game, which is especially essential if you want to play for a long time. It's critical to try to strike a balance between your normal gaming and your life skills as much as possible in this game. During the early stages of the game, Gathering or Gardening aren't as significant as Mining and Fishing, but as you reach the mid-tier, the advantages of this Life Skill become more apparent.

1. Gathering depends on the crop's growth time. To see whether the current crop can be picked, tap Life, then go to Gardening, then choose the crop you want to pick. It is best to go right after a crop refreshes to avoid having to wait another minute.

2. To collect an enchantment material, it will require you 20 Stamina. On the other hand, collecting Normal Food will only require you 1 Stamina. If a Pass Quest is a gather quest, you can collect food to reduce stamina cost and save time competing with other players.

Exchange Center Auctions

In the Exchange Center, players may auction off certain goods in the game and purchase others from other players using the exchange currency known as Crystals, which may then be used to purchase goods that other players have auctioned off.

1. Players who have obtained rare items can put them up for auction in exchange for Crystals. The system will automatically change into Auction mode and the item put up will be available for 6 hours. Other players can place bids up to 30 minutes before the closing time. The remaining 30 minutes will be a limited private bidding. If the same private bids are placed, it will enter auction.

2. Other players can also watch the auction at the Auction House and place bets by sending rockets. If the player they bet on wins the auction, they will get a Crystal reward through mail.
