As you progress into the game, there will be more challenges along the way. In this beginner's guide, you will learn about the following features of the game: Obtaining Equipment, Equipment Enchanting, and Marriage. Let's get started!

Obtaining Equipment

The efficacy of your equipment is one of the most essential aspects of making your character stand out in Ragnarok X Next Generation. White Equipment, Blue Equipment, Purple Equipment, and Gold Equipment are the four main types of Equipment that may be recognized by their border colors. They can be obtained in a variety of ways.

Instance Equipment (White Equipment)

These items can be re-obtained, purchased in the Exchange Center, or from participating in an MVP Dungeon Instance. This is a sort of equipment that may enhance its base stats by upgrading its Tier level (Tier I, II, III, IV, and V) without affecting its look. This allows users to experience RoX without having to use equipment that needs a higher level, although performance will be comparable if the Tier is updated.

Crafted Equipment (Blue Equipment)

This is a sort of equipment that may be leveled up to become an improved version and produced with resources. It usually alters its look, after which its needed level is increased by ten points. After initially crafting you first level 30 Crafted Equipment at Prontera Square, you can proceed to upgrade it to level 40 Crafted Equipment at Izlude Island by visiting the Weapon, Armor, and Accessory crafters there and collecting the required upgrade materials: Original Blue Equipment and Corsair's drop.

Valkyrie Equipment (Purple Equipment)

This equipment consists of a set of Armor (Clothes, Cloak and Shoes). It does not require any level to wear it, and you may increase its Tier up to II, exactly like the instance equipment. To trade it with the Instance Merchant in Prontera Square, you'll need a lot of Valkyrie Coins. Valkyrie Coins may be obtained through playing in MVP dungeons, which often only provide 1 to 2 Valkyrie Coins each match. It's also the sole piece of equipment that you can't get from the Gacha.

MVP/Mini Equipment (Gold Equipment)

This equipment is the most expensive and has the finest stats of all, and you can increase its tier up II exactly like the instance and valkyrie equipment. We're not sure if this item is suitable for all levels, however the Gacha specifies that you must be at least level 60. You must hunt MVP and Mini Bosses in the wild to earn MVP/Mini equipment. The likelihood of obtaining this item is determined on your character's skill level, level, and loot chances. When you fight against bosses, you'll either obtain MVP/Mini equipment or MVP/Mini Coins, which you can spend on Gacha to roll for equipment with a 100% probability, however you'll need a lot of them to get a pull on a single piece of equipment.

New weapons are not enchanted, upgraded, or refined, so remember to transfer them across from your old weapon. You also cannot transfer between different weapon types. For instance, a one-handed weapon cannot be transferred to a two-handed weapon.

Equipment Enchanting

Aside from refining, you may improve the stats of your equipment by randomly obtaining enchantment stats from an NPC in any large city. Accessories can also be exchanged 3 times. If you are not satisfied with the enchantment's stats, you can refine it.

Marriage

Having a Marriage Partner allows you access to huge bonuses that you wouldn’t have received otherwise. Don't focus too much on fighting off monsters, go get married with the one you love! Purchase "L" "O" "V" "E" and other favor items to quickly increase your Favor with your partner to 9999. You can also choose someone to witness the wedding after completion.
