Razer officially opens their first-ever Southeast Asia Headquarters worth $100 million

On October 26, Razer celebrated the grand opening of their Southeast Asia (SEA) headquarters, worth $100 million, at one-north.

The SEA headquarters is a seven-storey building that features a black facade with acid green lines streaking across it. The ceremony was officiated by the Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat, who applauded Razer for shaping and nurturing the gaming community for what it is today, not only locally but also around the world.

Razer’s headquarters in the United States, Germany, and Singapore are all certified to be a great place to work at, and with this new SEA HQ, Razer is poised to extend its propositions to be a great place to do work.

“With the new Razer Southeast Asia Headquarters, we’re excited to expand our family in Singapore from 600 to 1,000 employees. Our gamer-centric ecosystem has redefined the gaming experience for more than a decade with the introduction of innovative solutions and whole new product categories, and we’re not planning on slowing down,” says Min-Liang Tan, Razer’s Co-Founder and CEO. “The new regional hub represents everything that Razer stands for, from innovation, to design, to sustainability, and will not only be home to Razer’s growing staff, but to up-and-coming entrepreneurs, and even gamers looking for a place to train and learn as well.”

Currently, Razer has 30 available job listings on their official page in LinkedIn. The available positions include product marketing, development manager, software engineer, data scientist, and social media specialist.

Razer has allotted a space in the new HQ for hosting esports workshops, training sessions, and supporting the local esports teams and talents. The company will also continue to forge close partnerships with various stakeholders and the esports federation in Southeast Asia in support of the growing esports scene in the region.

Razer SEA HQ welcomes the public for a chance to visit the first-ever RazerStore in Singapore and also to get coffee served at the RazerCafe from October 28 onwards.

The company offers fans the chance to sample and explore the full-range of Razer’s award winning products. People can also get a first-hand look at the latest innovations and creations of Razer.

Razer is also introducing a new F&B concept that puts together technology, design, and refreshment through a state-of-the-art robotic barista arm.

The new Razer SEA HQ is equipped with solar panels to power some of the day-to-day operations and sensor-enabled lighting system for energy effectiveness which then granted the building the Green Mark GoldPLUS certification by the Building and Construction Authorities in Singapore.

Razer also fulfilled a brand promise that they made earlier this year, the SEA HQ incorporated sustainable practices in the company and has removed single-use plastics, utilizing BAMBOOLOO which is brand of sustainable paper products from The Nurturing Co.’s

To celebrate this grand opening of the SEA HQ with fans across the region, the company will hold a live streaming event in November. Further details will be released on Razer’s official social media sites.
