Realme GT Neo 5 confirmed to support 240W wired charging with full specs revealed by TENAA

After Realme confirmed its upcoming Realme GT Neo 5 last month, its spec sheet has been revealed on the website of a Chinese certifying authority TENAA, even though the company itself has yet to detail its full spec. Realme has also announced that the Realme GT Neo 5 will be its first phone to support 240W wired charging.

There are two versions that have been revealed. The other is under the model code RMX3706 while the other is RMX3708. The difference that these two have is their battery size. The RMX3706 has a rated battery capacity of 2,425 mAh, while the RMX3708 has 2,225 mAh. But if the devices are dual-cell batteries, their typical battery capacity will be 4,850 mAh and 4,450 mAh each.

Some leaks claimed that the GT Neo 5 would have a 150W version and a 240W model. With the former packing a 5,000 mAh battery, while the latter will pack a 4,600 mAh cell. Add to that, both smartphones will come with a 6.74" 2,772x1,240-pixel resolution AMOLED screen, an octa-core processor with a max frequency of 3GHz, and four cameras. With the front cam being a 16MP camera, while the rear will consist of 50MP, 8MP, and 2MP units.

Aside from the mentioned above, the smartphones will have three RAM (8GB/12GB/16GB) and four storage (128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB) options, an in-display fingerprint scanner, an IR blaster, 5G connectivity, and despite their difference in battery size, both devices will be 8.9mm thick and weigh 199g.

The Realme GT Neo 5 will be officially revealed next month and even though Realme has yet to reveal the date, many believe that it will be introduced through the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain.
