Reasons on why Renejay and V33Wise are out of the Blacklist line-up for MPL-PH S13

The fans of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) team, Blacklist International, have concerns on why some of their key players, Renejay and the V33Wise tandem, are not included in the roster for MLBB Professional League Philippines Season 13. Thus, the CEO of Blacklist International, Tryke Gutierrez, explained the reasons for the exclusion of those players in the roster via a video on TikTok. Renejay is part of the M5 Championship run as a roamer while V33Wise are part of M3 and M4 so these players are what some fans are looking forward to in upcoming Season 13 of the league.

Tryke clarified that they are not the reason why Renejay is out of the line-up. "It was his decision", Tryke said. He further explained that Renejay called them around January about a personal matter and a problem that he needs to fix. Tryke also revealed that he tried to convince Renejay but the latter responded that he doesn’t like the thought of being in the line-up but he can’t be 100% all in because his mind may wander and be out of focus.

About the V33Wise duo, Tryke explained the importance of rest to address some of the fans’ reactions. It seems V33Wise will continue resting this season and Tryke mentioned that he thinks the feelings of the fans are valid. It is really a matter of decision between the involved parties so this might have been a very hard decision and result for everyone. Tryke also takes the reaction positively and sees it in a way that he can see how the fans care about the duo. "When you're in this league, what people don't understand is the pressure that comes in the level of competition, the pressure that comes with the amount of viewership, it's not a joke," Tryke said.

Blacklist International will play in the opening day of MPL-PH Season 13 as the last match of the day as they will face the defending champion, AP Bren, March 15, 2024. The starting line-up is yet to be confirmed but the previous season's main players: Sensui, Oheb, and Edward, are still part of the roster along with their midlaner options: Yue and Hadji. Eson and Kimpoy wrap up their 7-player roster along with their four coaches listed in the official rosters announcement posted in the official MPL Philippines Facebook page.
