“Our team is hard at work on the project, but to ensure this will be an unforgettable adventure, we’ve decided to shift the release window to 2023,” the company said in a statement. “In the meantime, we have brand new artwork to share with you. Thank you for your patience.”

First announced at Sony’s PlayStation 5 Showcase back in June 2020, PRAGMATA is an adventure game set in a dystopian near-future on Earth’s moon that will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.

According to the annual report by Capcom’s executive corporate officer Yoichi Egawa, he said that they have been making steady progress on PRAGMATA’s development.

Aside from what was seen in the teaser trailer as well as the brief game overview of the game, PRAGMATA is shrouded with mystery. Not much was revealed about the game ever since the announcement back in 2020.

Egawa has also revealed that PRAGMATA is being specifically used to train younger employees at Capcom. The new game is one of the examples for younger developers being given the "chance to acquire know-how and skills through hands-on experience in the field as they are assigned to the development of popular IPs and major titles."
