Resident Evil 7 Biohazard is coming to iPhone 15 Pro models, iPads, and Macs

Two games from the Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Resident Evil 2 remake, are coming to iOS devices, according to Capcom.

According to Capcom, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is scheduled for release on July 2 for the iPhone 15 Pro series, Apple silicon-powered iPads, and Macs with the M1 chip or later. It will also include the additional content from the Gold Edition, such as the ‘Not a Hero’ story expansion.

The controls for Resident Evil 7 are well optimized and enhanced for each device, with a new auto-fire gun feature that lets players shoot at enemies after a certain amount of time. As with the previous Resident Evil ports to Apple devices, touch controls will be available alongside Bluetooth controller support.

Resident Evil 7 for Apple devices is now open for pre-order, valued at 19.99 USD for the base game, and the Gold Edition upgrade will cost 20 USD. The Gold Edition includes access to the DLC story expansions Not a Hero and End of Zoe.

Capcom also confirms the Resident Evil 2 remake is still under development for the same aforementioned Apple devices and will support Universal Purchase, similar to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. This means that after purchasing the iPhone 15 Pro version, you will also have access to the iPad and Mac versions, as long as they have an M-chip.

The release of Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil 2 Remake to Apple devices marks the third and fourth Resident Evil games to get ported onto Apple’s hardware, following the release of Resident Evil Village last October and Resident Evil 4 Remake in December.
