ROS-NimoTV Philippine Champions League S1 Enters the Playoffs Stage

45 PH Rules of Survival squads remain in the running for the championship title!

MANILA, Philippines, November 27, 2018 — The ROS-NimoTV Philippine Champions League S1, the biggest Rules of Survival tournament in the Philippines, rages on as 45 qualified teams enter the three-week playoffs stage. MET continues its commitment to bringing only the best esports tournament experience for all competitors befitting Asia’s number one esports event organizer. MET, in partnership with broadcasting platform NimoTv, and NetEase are working closely together to make the Champions League a success.

The qualifier stage for the tournament took place this past weekend on November 24-25, 2018 across three different Mineski Infinity branches. PH Rules of Survival squads from across the country put their skills to the test in the dreaded qualifier round until there were only fifteen teams from each branch. The remaining 45 teams in the tournament represent the very best that Filipino Rules of Survival has to offer. They are all still in the running for the ROS-NimoTV Philippine Champions League S1 title as well as the lion’s share of the massive prize pool.

• Playoffs 1: December 1, 2018 – MI Taft: Madison (2-5PM) & MI Cubao TIP (6-9PM)
• Playoffs 2: December 2, 2018 – MI Morayta (6-9PM)
• Playoffs 3: December 8, 2018 – MI Taft: Madison (2-5PM) & MI Cubao TIP (6-9PM)
• Playoffs 4: December 9, 2018 – MI Morayta (6-9PM)
• Playoffs Grand Finals: December 15, 2018 – MI Taft: Madison

The Playoffs will weed out the remaining 45 squads and seek out the top 4 teams per group to make it to the final Playoffs stage. They will be joined by the Top 2 teams with the highest accumulated points that didn’t make it to the Top 4 standings in each group. One more team will be joining the finalists via the NimoTV Fan Voting system. This final group of the best 15 PH ROS squads will meet in the grand finals event at Mineski infinity Taft: Madison on December 15, 2018.

The Playoffs will take place on December 1-9, 2018 across two weekends. The best PH Rules of Survival squads only have a short break before they head back into the heat of the action as they fight for their dream of becoming the first ever ROS-NimoTV Philippine Champions League S1 kings! The tournament will broadcasted live for all RoS fans and supporters live on NimoTV.
