Game developer Wanda Cinema Games is set to release globally the English mobile game adaptation of the anime Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann this coming October 12. Pre-registration of the game is now available on their official website for a chance to be granted exclusively a 5-Star Gurren Lagann and a total of 100 free draws in its official release. The game was already released last year but in the Taiwanese and Chinese markets only.
In addition, Wanda Cinema Games announced its first collaboration with Aniplex’s Kill la Kill already. Although they made sure that it would be out sooner, the official release of this collaboration is yet to be determined.
Gurren Lagann is a free-to-play turn-based RPG strategy game. They will deploy an army of Gunmen avatars to fight off their enemies on a 9×9 square grid field. In addition, various game modes are available, such as players exploring their village at Littana, engaging on the Expedition Teppelin, partnering with friends to battle against bosses, and engaging in Sky Duels with other players in the game. Players can also gather and recruit all the original Gunmen characters to make and customize their own Team Gurren roster.
The confirmed voice actors for the game are the original voice actors in its anime version, where Tetsuya Kakihara plays Simon and Katsuyuki Konichi plays Kamina.
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann will be available on both Android and iOS mobile devices on October 12 this year. And make sure to pre-register before its launch to get a chance to avail of their exclusive rewards.
