RRQ Kaito wins MDL PH Season 3 Championship; RRQ CEO talks about MPL PH plan

RRQ Kaito won versus the defending champions, ECHO Proud in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Development League (MDL) Philippines Season 3 Grand Finals. RRQ Kaito finished the season with a 3-2 Grand Finals series win versus the back-to-back champs after a solid regular season top 1 standing. The playoffs of the MDL-PH S3 was in a single-elimination bracket but as a top seed, RRQ Kaito is positioned already at the semi-finals where they faced BLRW. RRQ Kaito won the semi-finals 2-0 that led to them facing ECHO Proud, the team that won versus Omega Neos.


Throughout the whole season, both regular season and playoffs combined, RRQ Kaito didn’t lose a single series. Their championship roster included the following: xNova (MVP), Ferdz, DENJIRO, Minguin, Cy, Kenji, Dai Ki, and their head coach, Jian "Pauloxpert" Munsayac. RRQ CEO, Andrian Pauline Husen, has revealed in a press conference that there will be a talk about taking Filipino imports to their home country, Indonesia, after this successful run of their MDL team.


The RRQ organization has been involved with the Philippines esports scene for quite a long while already. They have already entered another esports game, VALORANT, where they have Filipinos representing their organization. In MLBB, RRQ also already have Filipino players in their MPL-ID roster and the next step might be owning an MPL-PH franchise. The RRQ CEO also stated that they had already talked about MPL Philippines and is also looking forward to what will happen in the future.

"We’ve already talked about the MPL, then I’ve talked with the MPL Philippines so we’ll see", Husen said after asked about the aim to have a team in MPL Philippines
