The figures have two editions, these are the Standard Edition and Digital Plus Edition. For the standard edition, which costs $129.99, it will still include NFT but in the form of a digital certificate of authenticity. While the Digital Plus edition, which costs $159.99, will have a ticket that contains a code that users can use to obtain the digital version of the figure.

It will be viewable on an Augmented Reality (AR) gallery app. Users can redeem both the digital figure and certificate on the NFT platform Enjin. The store pages for the figures includes a disclaimer that if the Enjin platform shuts down, Square Enix is absolved from the responsibility.

The figures’ appearances were based on Tetsuya Nomura’s original character art for the original Final Fantasy VII and both figures will be released in North America in April 2023. Japan will get them at a much later date. Tifa’s figure will be released on December 30, 2023, and Aerith’s will be on January 27, 2024. Pre-orders are still available so get yours now!
