From June 10 to June 14, Bandai Namco Entertainment's Sword Art Online Variant Showdown PvE battle mobile game will hold its first closed beta test. This test will be open to up to 10,000 participants, and registration already begun 5 days ago.
The CBT will be held from 06/10/2022(Fri.)4:00AM until 06/14/2022(Tue.)3:59AM (UTC), while the application period is from 05/07/2022(Sat.) until 05/16/2022(Mon.)9:00AM (UTC) (TBD). The chosen participants will be announced on 05/26/2022 (Thu.) (TBD).
Here's a sneak peak of the CBT
The story quests play through the chapters 1–4 of the story which is the "The Blue-Eyed Demon Revived" Event Play, a boss fight against The Gleam Eyes. Daily Quests are also available to collect enhancement items.
Enhance and edit character teams and Ability Cards.
The characters include : Kirito, Asuna, Silica, Leafa and Lisbet. Available skills will vary depending on character costume and rarity. Each character has a variety of skills including attacking, healing, and supporting.
The Beta testing also offers Prizes! 10 lucky CBT applicants can win a black SAO T-shirt.
