Post TI8, teams are trying to work around their rosters and fix things to prepare for the upcoming Kuala Lumpur Major. This best outcome came for NiP and Team Secret who won their respective events after defeating some tough contenders.

Team Secret attended the recent PVP Esports Championship. The team was invited alongside PSG.LGD, Team Secret, and Fnatic. A total of 9 teams fought for the title and $80,000 winning prize.

After making it through from the group stage Team Secret met PSG.LGD. The TI8 second place finishers were anything but an easy task for Team Secret to overcome. However, the Secret had a plan in mind and executed it with perfect. Their new carry player Nisha did wonder on Morphling, Drow and it took just 20 minutes and 18 minutes for Secret to defeat PSG.LGD and move to the finals.

In the finals, Secret met the revamped roster of Fnatic. The game went down to the final decider match but Team Secret came out on top after a nerve wrecking Best-of-five.

Then there was NiP who attended the GG.Bet Invitational Season 1. A total of 8 teams attended the event with invitees being Team Spirit, Odium, Espada, Lithium, Alliance, Gambit and NiP.

With a 2-1 score in the group stage, NiP moved to the playoffs with confidence. They met Alliance in the first round of the playoffs. NiP outrun the Swedes with flying colors and moved onto the finals. This is where NiP had to take on Gambit Esports, a team that has been looking quite strong in the recent shuffle.

Still NiP got the better of Gambit. Ex-secret star Ace did wonders with the core Drow and allowed his team an easy victory over the competition.

Both NiP and Secret are looking quite well considering their recent win in the Minors. This is definitely going to help boost their confidence and coordination, for their upcoming attendance at the Kuala Lumpur Major.
