The Arena of Valor International Championship (AIC) 2022 returns in June with a US$2,000,000 prize pool!

The Arena of Valor International Championship (AIC) 2022 is set to return this June! Arena of Valor (AoV) fans and players can look forward to the start of a brand new AIC season, presented by Level Infinite and Garena, which will feature 16 top teams from around the world competing for the prestigious title and the biggest slice of the prize pool. The US$2,000,000 this year - the highest for the AIC to date - will be shared across the AIC qualifiers, Group Stages, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals, and the Grand Finals.

In addition, fans and players of the popular MOBA title will also not want to miss the Group Stage Draw Show scheduled for 8 May, which will determine the team matchups for the Group Stage starting on 16 June.

Dynamic display of skills and strategy with more teams joining the AIC 2022


Featuring more teams from more regions worldwide, AoV fans and players will be able to enjoy a dynamic viewing experience with a variety of battle skills and strategies teams are expected to bring to the table. A total of 16 teams across 10 regions – Garena Challenger Series (GCS), RoV Pro League (RPL), Arena of Glory (AOG), AOV Star League (ASL), SEA Wildcard (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines), Brazil, West Europe, Turkey, Middle East and North Africa, and South Asia – will congregate at the virtual AIC arena for one of the biggest battles of the year.


The AIC 2022 will consist of a total of 4 stages:
  • Group Stages: 16 June to 19 June
  • Quarter Finals: 23 June to 26 June
  • Semi Finals: 2 July to 3 July
  • Grand Final: 10 July
The AIC 2022 will follow four key stages that will take place between 16 June to 10 July - the Group Stage, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals, and Grand Final on 10 July. The 16 teams will be separated into 4 groups that will compete over 2 phases. The Quarter Finals will see the top 8 teams competing between 23 to 26 June in a double-elimination format, the same format for the Semi Finals, between 2 to 3 July.

The Group Stage team matchups will be determined by the AIC 2022 Group Stage Draw happening right after Arena of Glory (AOG) 2022 Spring Season’s Grand Finals on 8 May. The Draw Show will be broadcast live for all to watch on YouTube.
