The Cycle: Frontier is set to be released in 2022, Closed Beta Test is now open in Steam

YAGER, a berlin-based studio, has announced that the closed beta test of their first-person shooter game for PC, The Cycle: Frontier, has now started on Steam.

The Cycle: Frontier is a free-to-play high-stakes PvPvE first-person shooter game for PC. Players need to complete missions on a deserted planet while also defending themselves from monsters and armed enemies. Take note that you can only keep your resources and mission objectives if you manage to leave the planet alive.

Players can either play solo, form a team with friends, or make alliances with strangers in the game. Regardless of all that, players are guaranteed to be given an ultimate competitive player and survival combat experience. Thanks to ample changes in the gameplay, The Cycle: Frontier gained a lot of strategic depth in its co-op and PvP gameplay. Players will need to decide for themselves how much risk they are willing to take at any given time.

Every decision you will take will have its corresponding consequences, for example: will you use expensive equipment in the next drop and risk losing rare resources or you’ll just use simple equipment but risk failing at the end?

At Prospect Station, the social hub of the game, players can find stores and their own quarters. Players shouldn’t also miss the three factions: Osiris, Korolev, and ICA.

Players will be given important missions to increase reputation and unlock tools, upgrades, and weapons. Beware of not only the dangerous beasts that reside in the planet Fortuna III but also of the greedy players that can be the reason of your demise.

The Cycle: Frontier’s closed beta test can be accessed here. The game is set to be released in 2022.
