The Department of Education will be launching the Minecraft: Education Edition (M:EE) Mobile Pilot for game-based learning on March 16

The Department of Education (DepEd) announces the launch of Minecraft: Education Edition (M:EE) Mobile Pilot for game-based learning. They have partnered up with Microsoft Philippines for the nationwide launch of the M:EE Mobile Pilot for both public and private educational institutions. It will be released tomorrow, March 16, from 11 AM to 12 NN.

According to DepEd, with the help of this launch, they want to encourage 23 million learners and 900,000 teachers to use M:EE for game-based learning to create better classroom experience. M:EE will be available nationwide for Android. Basic training on gameplay, as well as, resources and materials for the usage of M:EE will be provided

Teachers and learners that are interested in joining can access the application through Microsoft Teams Live Event. No registration required. However, for this live event, only 100,000 viewers can be accommodated. Here is the program flow of the event:
