While others came intrigued with the story of the Library's denizens, most came because they are Yoko Taro fans and have been anticipating to know more about the mobile game. With their wait quenched weeks ago and a fantastic collaboration starting today, get your Twilight Crystals ready as you roll for your favorite characters in NieR Automata today!
Like we said in the earlier articles regarding the collaboration, the NieR Automata collab will have its own story which is Yoko Taro supervised at, to head on there, just go open the game, check Story then Event. The title of the story will be called "Memory of Dolls". This event features a medal exchange shop which you can buy various items with such as Twilight Crystals, Purification Tickets, Arcanas for NieR jobs, skill gems, armor and more. With a 20 day period of the event, you can buy them all without hassle, as long as you grind the event. The event is fairly easy but make sure you have a moderate to strong grid to take out the bosses, if you can't do much, you can always join co-op battles so you can help or be helped by someone stronger plus it costs less AP to run. The rewards are pretty great so you should play it.
For people who are worried about getting their favorite characters in Automata, now that's depends on who is your favorite, for the ones who waifus 2B, fret not as her Breaker class is free just by logging in. You need 2B's class in order to get the full story of the event after all. But there are other characters that you can get via the gacha. Let's talk about it.
In terms of gacha, there will be 2 banners, from today until July 27, the banner will feature A2 and Emil, these characters will include their respective weapons for their classes. Same goes for the second banner which features another job for 2B and then 9S. Know the character you wish to desire and then either wait for it or roll now. While all of them can be pulled from either banner, the characters featured in their respective banners are their "rate-up" banner which means they can be rolled easily on that one.
But the NieR collaboration does not end on Automata, another one will be coming after the Automata event is over. NieR: RepliCant will be the next one to be showcased after Automata and it will be on August 6 to August 20 but we'll feature that on another article.
