Starting on April 7, 2023, the Mercenaries DLC will appear in Resident Evil 4 Remake for free. Existing in the original version of the game as well, the Mercenaries is a lot more action-packed than the main campaign as players only focus on killing enemies as fast as possible to get a high score.
The Mercenaries was first seen in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis and since then, other Resident Evil games have also featured a minigame of the mode or something similar to it. The version of the mode in Resident Evil 4 allows players to be HUNK or the Giant Chainsaw Man. The unlockable Handcannon weapon was also featured. However, for this upcoming version of The Mercenaries, it is still unknown what characters will be available as well as weapons.

Kennedy and his mission of rescuing the president’s daughter Ashley. Add to that, the characters and gameplay are re-imaginations of the original which means that your actions in the game now have a higher emphasis.
