MANILA, Philippines, October 15, 2019 — The Philippine Pro Gaming League 2019 is back for its third and final season of the year, featuring four esports titles—League of Legends, Rules of Survival, Tekken 7, and a bigger Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament open for all Filipino gamers.
Thanks to MET Events, the largest esports events organizer in Asia, and Globe Telecom, the country’s biggest multi-title esports league has played a significant role in the development of the country’s esports scene over the year. It has brought over more than a thousand Filipino gamers closer to their esports dreams. And with the league’s upcoming third season, the number is only bound to get bigger.
Aspiring Filipino esports athletes and professionals alike are invited to join and register for the third season of the PPGL 2019 starting on October 14, 2019. Two online qualifiers will be hosted for League of Legends, Rules of Survival, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The Tekken 7 qualifiers, on the other hand, will be hosted live in three major cities of the country—Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo, and Manila—made possible by Playbook Esports.
