The Witcher 3 gets Cross Save Functionality between Nintendo Switch and PC; graphics update

Guild of Guardians
There is no doubt that the Witcher 3 is one of the best games out there in the market. Released back in 2015 in the PC, CD Projekt Red had been killing it with sales and the reason for that is because the completeness of the game. Some people testified that they have played the game for hundreds of hours but still finds new things to do such as side quests and other tasks to do that makes the game an immersive experience and enjoyable all around.

Which is always a good metric for a game and a great reputation booster for the developers.

And it is no surprise that they would have their own version in the Nintendo Switch last 2019. For those who have yet to experience the Witcher franchise and to those solid Nintendo players, they would have their own experience in the Switch plus its portability and accessibility to play anywhere you wanted.

The only drawback that the players will say is the downgraded graphics in the Switch Version which is fairly reasonable for both sides since the players want a full experience but the Switch's limited graphic capability hinders it.

Well, until today that is, CD Projekt Red has released two new important updates in the Nintendo Switch version of Witcher 3. First, cross-save implementation for both the Switch and PC has been implemented and it is all good news for both sides. If players of the Switch Version would want a full experience even further from the Switch version, when they have a PC now, that's all they need to carry their saves. Also for the PC crowd, if they want to play Witcher on the go, then there's your solution.

However, please do take note that modded runs will not work because your mods are in the steam version and it is outside the developers' range. PC saves will be acquired in Steam and GoG versions so you need to have cloud saves in those apps!

Second, graphic upgrades are also implemented in the latest version of Witcher 3 in the Switch. So if you think that the graphics are kind of eh, then try playing it now and you may see it for yourself how much the graphics have changed now.

With the successful release of the Witcher in Netflix, CDPR are kicking up a notch to make the game a great experience for those who wants to return and for those who plans to play it for the first time. No doubt that this game is amazing so we urge you to try it out! CDPR also needs to keep its reputation up with the coming of Cyberpunk 2077 which everyone is excited to.
