Unboxing the DrivePro Body 10 Camera
The DrivePro Body 10 Camera packaging is similar to Transcend DrivePro 520 car video camera. The standard package comes with microUSB data cable, charger, quick start guide, warranty card and a couple of promotional brochures are can be found inside the box. There is a FREE 32GB micoSD card that is ready to use.
In terms of design, the DrivePro Body 10 is made of hard plastic and it looks really sturdy, it has a curve on the side of the body so it’s easy to hold. The front is where the camera sensor with 4 infrared LEDs that is automatically turned on in low light conditions. There is a button at the center that function as the power and record button while below is a shutter button to capture a snapshot while recording.
At the bottom of the DrivePro Body 10 is where the microUSB port and the microSD card slot, its protected by an easy to unlock cover (just make sure that you firmly close the lid so that that microSD card is protected just in case it rains)
There is a big clip at the back and it’s 360° rotatable that allows you to always firmly attach it to your clothing or straps, making it easily to record all details. The dark black color allows it to blend on uniform and straps thus making it almost unnoticeable which is good.
Overall the DrivePro Body 10 looks like a really tough camera, with the right features, the 360° rotatable clip allows the user to clip this anywhere.
Video Camera Recording
The camera is capable of recording Full HD 1080p videos, it also has a wide 160° viewing angle which is great since it can capture more details. To start recording simply press and hold the power button for around 2secs. or until the LED light started to flash. Video is recorded is saved every 3 minutes of recording.
Speaking of the LED lights status, there a two LED lights on this camera one can be found at the top and the other is at the front besides the camera. The Top LED ligh indicator, when blue light is flashing it means the storage is almost full, orange light flashing means low battery, orange solid light means charging, no LED light means battery is full charge. While when red led light is flashing at the front it means that its recording.

DrivePro Software Companion
The camera does not have a wireless connectivity, the only way to get the recorded data is by using DrivePro Body Toolbox software, it supports both Windows and MAC platform. With this software you can easily copy the recorded data into the PC.
Video/Photo User Stamp: Set the video/photo user stamp. The name you enter will be displayed on the recorded videos and photos.
Loop Recording: Select to record videos cyclically. The earliest video files will be overwritten by the latest file recorded.
Format SD Card: Formatting will delete all the files stored in the microSD card.
Firmware Upgrade: Upgrade firmware to the latest version (internet connection is required).

The Transcend DrivePro Body 10 Camera comes with a non-removable 1530mAh Li-Polymer battery, with this it can record up to 3.5 hours of footage on a fully charged battery.
Our Verdict
We can’t really say that it can replace action camera like GoPro, but its a good alternative if you are looking for a good and reliable camera that can record HD videos and capture images while recording. The build of the camera looks really tough and can withstand drop, its also IPX4 water resistant which is great since this can be use even when raining. The 360° rotatable clip is a great feature since you can clip this camera almost anywhere. The downside, there’s no LCD to view the recorded videos, no wireless connectivity and no mobile app.
