Ubisoft announces several games under the Assassin's Creed franchise.

Publisher Ubisoft and developer Ubisoft Bordeaux has announced that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC via Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store, and Luna in 2023.

Characters
  • Basim – Originally born in Samarra, Basim lost his mother at a young age and grew up on his own in the streets of Baghdad. Basim admires the Hidden Ones, and dreams of joining them.

Assassin's Creed Mirage Developer Trailer Breakdown

Following the announcement of Assassin's Creed Mirage, Ubisoft has also announced Assassin’s Creed Codename RED and Assassin’s Creed Codename HEXE, which are the next two mainline entries in the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

In Assassin’s Creed Codename RED, players will be taken to Feudal Japan and will have the chance to experience the “next evolution of” the franchise’s open-world RPG design.

Currently, it’s in development at Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate developer Ubisoft Quebec, with creative director Jonathan Dumont.

Described as “a very different type of [Assassin’s Creed] experience,” Assassin’s Creed Codename HEXE is in development at Ubisoft Montreal, with creative director Clint Hocking.

Both games will be a part of Assassin’s Creed Codename INFINITY, a hub that will “connect players through different types of Assassin’s Creed experiences, old and new.” INFINITY will also bring multiplayer back to Assassin’s Creed via a standalone experience.

Another game announced by Ubisoft that will be released in mobile under the Assassin’s Creed franchise is Assassin’s Creed Codename JADE.

It will be a free-to-play “AAA RPG action adventure game for mobile devices” that’s set in ancient China. Players will be able to create their own character and discover a “unique standalone storyline.” However, a release date is yet to be announced.
