Upcoming Action Title Codenamed Breaking Dawn is rumored to launch in Q2 2024

Tencent Games has revealed that Codenamed Breaking Dawn, an action-packed game based on the well-liked MOBA Honor of Kings genre, will be released in China in the second quarter of 2024. The game is also translated as Star Break and Dawn of the Stars.


The game takes place in a world of shadowed hearts, where players are guided by the adventures of great heroes as they search for themselves and strive to overcome darkness. It is the first heroic action title in the Honor of Kings IP. First revealed in 2022, we may expect thrilling hero fights, formidable skill combos, and amazing full-screen abilities.

The excellent cinematic teaser revealed a lot of action and hinted at deeper investigation of the game's intricate plot, including the discovery of hidden secrets and surprises. Based on the teases, the gameplay appears to be a side-scrolling platformer action with a Super Smash Bros. vibe, enhanced with 3D visuals. Quick game types and multiplayer choices allow all players to quickly become immersed in the gameplay.
