2019 is here and if you're thinking the excitement of new game releases is finally slowing down, guess again! It seems the train has not stopped but only picked up its speed, delivering is awesome games every month! Here's a short list of games that are scheduled to be released in 2019!
DEVIL MAY CRY 5: MARCH 8
Ever feel the need to slay demons? Need to step into the shoes of a brooding protagonist with questionable heritage and even cooler moves? Well, DMC never disappointed in that specific department and in this new installment, we'll be getting more baddies with new characters to control. It is predicted that we'll see plenty of updates and new elements in the game.
ONE PIECE: WORLD SEEKER: MARCH 15
For those of you who're into the One Piece world, boy oh boy you're lucky! Bandai Namco has decided to release a One Piece game. Featuring Luffy, you'll be traversing an open world map, completing objectives and side quests. And let's not forget the famous Gomu Gomu and Gear techniques that Luffy relies upon. Taking the looks of an anime beatdown game, this game is set to send fans raving over it.
PHOENIX POINT: JUNE 2019
This is an interesting game to watch out for as the creator of the original X-COM game is injecting his vision of a modern and updated version of this genre, as we've seen many poor imitations of the original X-COM game that did not quite live up to the level and quality the original brought to gamers. Now, we have a reason to believe again!
RAGE 2: JUNE 2019
Yay! Another post-apocalyptic game. Yes, savage wasteland. Yes, wreckages of the old world, riddled with crazy Mad Max like villains. And let's not forget the vibrant colors and great atmospheric rendering that can be seen from the game. A great looking shooter so far with interesting supporting elements.
SEKIRO: SHADOWS DIE TWICE: MARCH 22
I personally feel that we're lacking samurai-themed games for the PC platform. Most games only borrow Japanese themes and use it to dress the game, giving it some sort of identity. But nothing feels as uniquely Japanese as Sekiro. A ronin like figure, battling samurais and demons alike, being able to traverse ancient Japan environment. This game speaks volume in its production value.
