Guess how much? Suit's plaintiff apparently spent more than $170 on microtransactions. What are these immoral microtransactions. Mario Kart Tour’s “Spotlight Pipes” which are in-game rewards using undisclosed odds. Sound familiar? “Gacha” / “Lootbox”, according to N.A.’s suit “Defendant’s loot box mechanism capitalized on and encouraged addictive behaviors akin to gambling,”It states that minors are particularly susceptible to systems that involve surprise rewards. Are you sure minors only?
Good news though Nintendo discontinued use of spotlight pipes in Mario Kart Tour last September. Basically, players directly purchase items offered in its in-game shop. Game monetization like loot box isnt going away unfortunately we lost that battle we literally voted with our wallets. The only fix is to remove pay mechanics with odds related rewards
In the roadmap they mentioned: Virtual Dating, Movie Screenings, and Social Nights, Basically more adult experiences. Why are they doing this? Well they have a vision, which is the “for all-ages campaign”. I think it's time to block Roblox for kids, coz how will they segment this? If a feature is there someone somewhere will access it imagine kids joining dating and social nights.

Remember Project Q? We touched into it when it was still a rumor but now its confirmed. So what are we talking about, basically Sony confirms “PlayStation Q,” a handheld device for streaming PS5 games. So its not a dedicated console just a streaming device with an 8 Inch HD screen basically slapped on the dual sense. Imaging switch but change the controller. Just to iterate it won't be able to play games on its own; it's all about the streaming functionality. Release dates and pricing for these haven't been announced.
Metal Gear Remake
Has anyone played a metal gear solid game? Well seems like after a series of L Konami might have a winner here, Publisher Konami have announced Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater not Metal Gear Solid Triangle. This is a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater first launched for PlayStation 2 on November 17, 2004. According to Konami, it will be a faithful remake so meaning the story is Cold War era. Snake has a mentor the original boss, in fact, he's not Solid Snake he still referred to as Naked Snake, Ocelot is still young etc. Confusing I know! Basically, it's the first part of the major series. Then the ending spoiler someone dies, the release date was not announced but it's coming to PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
Foamstars
If you like Splatoon, Square Enix has announced four-versus-four multiplayer party shooter FOAMSTARS. FOAMSTARS the oteher word your thinking, I mentioned Splatoon right coz its basically the game just change the ink to foam for the PlayStation. Instead of squids replace it with fortnite chracters.
Marathon
Do you guys know Bungie? The creators of Halo and Destiny. Well Bungie has announced a science-fiction player-versus-player extraction shooter Marathon. Fact: This is a revival of 1994 game for Mac OS. Seems like we have so many extraction shooter type of games coming out, based on the trailer there is a cyberpunk vibe. Currently in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC with full cross-play and cross-save.
VR Games
Then if you have a VR, If you like crossfire there is a new crossfire game called, CROSSFIRE: Sierra Squad a Battle-focused arcade shooter announced by Smilegate. Resident Evil 4 remake has been teased. Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 announced for PS VR2, Beat Saber for PS VR2 now available and more
