WARZONE SEASON 4 ROADMAP

Season 4's Call of Duty Cold War and Warzone roadmap promises a new Zombies map, three new modes, four multiplayer maps, and all new weaponry, with Ground Fall, the timed event accessible at launch, kicking things off.

WARZONE SEASON 4 BALANCE CHANGES

The devs informed gamers in the Warzone Season 3 patch notes that Modern Warfare weaponry will begin to get balancing tweaks in the future. The patch notes state, "We fully plan to take a closer look at some of the Modern Warfare weapons that have been suffering."

Cold War weaponry was added to Warzone in Season 1 last December, but most of them appeared underpowered in comparison to their Modern Warfare counterparts. The developers have been working for months to get the Cold War weaponry up to speed, but this has meant that the Modern Warfare weapons have received little attention. In Season 4, underutilized weapons such as the best Kilo 141 loadout and best Scar loadout may be returned to the meta.

WARZONE SEASON 4 MAP CHANGES

While the ‘80s Action Heroes event may be finished, Nakatomi Plaza and the survival camps look to be here to stay... at least for now. However, satellites have crashed near Verdansk, creating a new point of interest on the map that may be related to the first timed event to locate and secure SAT links.

This season, Verdansk in the 1980s may have a quick transit system in the shape of the enigmatic red doors. This mechanism is used to travel between places in the Cold War single-player campaign. The subway system that was installed in contemporary Verdansk was removed in the 1980s version, thus the red doors may be a good substitute.

New places of interest will be added to the Verdansk map in Call of Duty: Warzone, including satellite crash sites, "The Red Doors," a hijacked Gulag, and the Downtown tower, all of which will be accessible at the start of Season 4. A new Dirt Bike will be added to Warzone, as well as two new game modes: Resurgence Mini and Payload.

WARZONE SEASON 4 NEW MAP

In Season 4, four multiplayer maps will be added to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War: Collateral (12v12), Collateral Strike (6v6), Amsterdam (2v2 and 3v3), Hijacked (6v6), and Rush (6v6). Multi-team will be one of the new modes. Sat-link, in which teams must maintain their satellite online for as long as possible, and One in the Chamber, in which players begin with one bullet and get another with each kill. A Capture the Flag option will also be available.

CALL OF DUTY COLD WAR SEASON 4 NEW WEAPONS

Season 4 introduces five new weapons into the game, including three at launch and two in season. Which will part of the Battle Pass and three will be unlockable. These include the MG 82 LMG (Battle Pass Tier 15), C58 full-auto assault rifle (Battle Pass Tier 31), Nail Gun, OTs 9 SMG, and a mace melee weapon.

CALL OF DUTY COLD WAR SEASON 4 NEW OPERATORS

Season 4 will also feature three new operators: Jackal will be available at launch, while Salah and Weaver will arrive later in the season. On the Call of Duty blog, you may learn more about them.

CALL OF DUTY ZOMBIES SEASON 4 NEW MAP

Welcome to the Zoo, a new location located in the Ural Mountains in a zombie-infested zoo that will be added to Outbreak before a new map is released in the middle of the season. The second episode in the Zombies series, Mauer der Toten, takes place in a new terrain set in East Berlin.
