[7 April 2018, Manila] -- After an intense battle, Wil New Era overcame all odds to lift the AOV Valor Cup and
bring home their share of the prize pool worth more than PHP1,200,000 (USD23,000) for Arena of Valor
(AOV) at the Trinoma Activity Center in Manila, Philippines today in front of a crowd of more than 1,500 pairs
of eyeballs.

These 4 teams, M8HEXA.Penang food (Malaysia), Tamago (Singapore), Clutch Guild (Philippines) and Wil
New Era (Philippines) emerged on top after outclassing and outperforming a field of over 260 teams at the
qualifiers stage through to a National Finals at each country including a Wild Card tournament. As the Top 4
finishers, all teams have earned themselves automatic qualification into the Road to AWC Invitationals. The
winner of Road to AWC Invitationals will represent the Valiant Server at the AOV World Cup (AWC) in Los
Angeles later this year. At the AWC, they will be competing to be against 11 other global teams from to be
crowned the World Champions and walk away with a prize pool of USD550,000 (RM2.2million,

The day started off with a couple of tightly contested semifinals with the local teams taking full advantage of
the home ground advantage to set up an all Filipino Showdown in the Finals! It was a test of willpower and
endurance as Clutch Guild and Wil New Era revved into another gear and willed themselves to go the
distance with Wil New Era securing the title after coming from a 3 to 1 games deficit to clinch the title in the
Best of- 7 series.
