Recently two men in China were arrested for secretly swapping high-end graphics cards for lower-end models inside computers at gaming hotels. The thieves checked into hotel rooms featuring high-performance computers equipped with Nvidia RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 graphics cards. Basically they opened the computer cases, replaced the expensive cards with cheaper RTX 3060 models, and sold the stolen hardware on the secondhand market for half price. However the scheme was only uncovered due to an unexpected power outage; when the thieves asked to change rooms, an electrician noticed pry marks on the PC cases and discovered the downgraded components inside. Police caught the suspects at an electronics market two days after hotel management reported the theft, using guest registration records to track them.

Do you know Kingdom Hearts? Well recently it was revealed that Kingdom Hearts IV will launch for PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC in late 2027. Then during the D23 Disney officially announced that an anime series based on the Kingdom Hearts video game franchise is in development for Disney+ and Disney Channel. The announcement was revealed alongside concept art showing the main character, Sora, holding his signature Keyblade. According to Kingdom Hearts creator Tetsuya Nomura and Square Enix are collaborating directly on the project to maintain the original style and direction. The series will feature a new original story that expands the existing Kingdom Hearts universe rather than retelling the games. Unfortunately no official release date, episode count, or animation studio details have been announced yet.

Well just a recap its a Japanese music multimedia franchise owned by Bushiroad launched in 2025 With anime series, manga, live concerts, and successful mobile rhythm games. Well because of this franchise a professional boxer was inspired to come out of retirement. According to Automaton the Japanese professional boxer Koki Inoue revealed in an interview that watching an anime movie inspired him to come out of retirement and return to boxing. Note that Inoue retired from boxing in 2020 after losing his undefeated streak and briefly shifted his focus to becoming a manga artist. So in 2022, he watched the anime movie BanG Dream! Poppin'Dream! in theaters, which brought him to tears and reminded him of the importance of chasing his goals. Moved by the film's message, he decided on the spot to make a comeback to professional boxing.

Recently the Actor Noah Centineo confirmed during a podcast appearance that the live-action movie takes place directly within the Universal Century canon. Just a recap Sydney Sweeney alongside Noah Centineo is attached to star in the Gundam Live action. Centineo described the film as a "big action romance space movie" and compared the storyline to a "non-Shakespearean Romeo and Juliet in Space." Set within the established timeline of the conflict between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon, the movie uses the world introduced in the original anime rather than creating a separate timeline.

Recently the Philippine Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla linked the online gaming platform Roblox to child radicalization following a deadly school shooting in Zamboanga City. Remulla stated that authorities believe the student gunman was influenced by Roblox, specifically pointing to adjacent chat groups where young users can be radicalized. While acknowledging that Roblox itself is not inherently dangerous, Secretary Jonvic Remulla urged Congress to help control and regulate online platforms that host first-person shooter content and community chats. Remulla also suggested that the Philippines consider social media restrictions for minors under 16, referencing Australia's current laws as a potential model. Note that despite officials expressing a high degree of confidence regarding the shooter's online influences, authorities confirmed that forensic examinations of the suspect's electronic devices have not yet been completed.
