Can Nodusfall be played solo? \Indie dev accused of "AI" voice in Luminary game was actually his wife, and 'Lollipop Chainsaw' Is Getting a Live-Action Prequel Film and an Anime Adaptation
Have you seen the game Nodusfall? HoYoverse released new details about its upcoming action game Nodusfall, confirming that players can complete most of the core content alone despite the game's multiplayer co-op features. The developer stated that the game's difficulty is designed to be accessible for new players while offering enough control depth for experienced players. Note that the game is confirmed for PC, while support for other platforms has not been finalized. Players can unlock all playable characters through regular gameplay without using a randomized gacha system. Combat uses customizable "Divine Skills" for offensive, defensive, and support moves, alongside a team mechanic called "Divine Drain" during cooperative play. Outside of main combat and boss fights, the game includes casual activities such as playing music duets and using hot springs.
Do you like AI in Video games? Recently a Steam player left a negative review on an indie game, claiming that the game used an "awful AI-generated voice." However, the game’s developer responded by revealing that the voice was actually his wife doing her first voice acting role. Here are more details: The game is Luminary, an indie action-RPG developed by Refractive Entertainment, which launched in Steam Early Access on August 11, 2026. A user posted a negative review after playing for 0.4 hours, stating that the voice acting felt like AI and ruined the experience. Creative Director Keith Kolod replied to clarify that no AI was used in the game, and the character—the Temple Guardian—was voiced by his wife, Mikell. Kolod explained that his wife was nervous because it was her first time recording voiceovers, but she agreed to help out to support him and his project. So what are your thoughts on the game Luminary?
'Lollipop Chainsaw' is Getting a Live-Action Prequel Film and an Anime Adaptation. Do you remember Lollipop Chainsaw? Recently Dragami Games announced a live-action prequel movie and an anime series based on the 2012 video game Lollipop Chainsaw. Just a recap. The original 2012 game follows Juliet Starling, a high school cheerleader and zombie hunter who fights zombies alongside the severed head of her boyfriend, Nick. And of course, the live-action film will be an R-rated action-comedy set before the events of the original game. While the anime series story will be based of the first game. These projects are part of a push to grow the series ahead of the upcoming video game sequel, Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back, scheduled for 2027. So what are your thoughts on Lollipop Chainsaw adaptations?
