Do you like big women? Capcom announced life-sized statues of Resident Evil villains Lady Dimitrescu and Albert Wesker for an upcoming 30th-anniversary exhibition in Tokyo. The statues will be displayed at the "World of Biohazard 30th Anniversary Exhibition" at Shibuya BEAM Gallery in Tokyo from October 30 to December 24, 2026. Concept art shows Albert Wesker standing tall in his sunglasses and trench coat, placed in a section for biological threats. Lady Dimitrescu is shown sitting in a chair in a section for hallucinations, designed to reflect her 290 cm (9.5 feet) scale. Fans online responded with jokes about staging heists to steal the statues, with users saying Capcom will need around-the-clock security to keep the displays safe. In an interview with Reymond delos Reyes Tryke Gutierrez, CEO of Tier 1 Entertainment, addressed public criticisms regarding unpaid influencers and detailed his company's recent financial struggles. Gutierrez shared that he sold his own properties and assets to inject money back into the company. When asked how much money the company still owes, Tryke confirms that the remaining unpaid balance is around 35 million pesos. He states that he is actively working to pay this amount back. Tryke estimates it will take between 3 to 4 months in a best-case scenario, or 1 to 1.5 years in a worst-case scenario to fully settle the 35 million pesos. According to Tryke the company expanded into overseas markets like Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Myanmar in 2022, resulting in a 5x increase in operational expenses—reaching up to 17 million pesos per month—without generating expected revenues. Near the end of the interview, he expresses gratitude toward the people who chose to remain silent rather than join in on the online backlash or harassment, stating: "Despite everything that happened, I just want to thank those who were silent." So what are your thoughts on Tryke Gutierrez?
